Why we fundraise, the two mandatory events, and where the money goes.
There are many costs each season that registration fees don’t cover. Fundraising is how the program stays running, and we value 100% participation.
Two mandatory fundraisers
- Beef and Beer — November
- Cash Raffle — January
Several smaller optional fundraisers run through the season alongside these.
Where the money goes
Fundraising dollars pay for AAU memberships and team membership fees, insurance, USA Cheer memberships and coach training, bows, pom poms, signs, the team banner, competition entry fees, facility rental at both Roosevelt and Kedron, practice t-shirts, choreography, music, team clinics, the holiday party, team and coach bonding activities, coaches’ housing and meals at Nationals, the team banquet, Nationals gifts, end-of-season trophies, TeamSnap, website and storage fees, first aid supplies, and more.
